Description
3/20/26 - This is a commercial Mauser Model 1930 Broomhandle from the 1930s. This example is matching and serialized on the bolt and magazine face plate, though the latter part has been refinished (see pictures). The rest of the pistol is all original and in phenomenal condition, retaining about 98% of its original bluing. There is a small area of wear under the barrel, some finish loss along the receiver side rails, and mild wear on the backstrap. Mint bore. Fitted with period-correct, unnumbered wood grips. There is a slight ding on the top of the right panel and minor bruising on both sides. It comes as a rig with a period-correct "Mauser" banner marked wooden stock, a leather shoulder harness, and tool. The accessories are in excellent shape, showing only minor scattered dings and handling marks.
Debuting in 1930, the M-30 (officially designated by Mauser as the "Modell 1930") marked the first time the C-96 line received a formal model name. With this release, Mauser permanently moved away from the smaller Bolo profile. Instead, the M-30 reverted to the highly successful standard design of the prewar and wartime eras, featuring a large grip with grooved walnut panels, a long barrel, a 10-shot magazine, and a 1000-meter tangent sight
