Description
10/24/25 - This is a near-mint condition Mauser model 1914 with a scarce and desirable original box sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. The gun is all matching and has the proper commercial "Crown U" proofs. There is a "Germany" export mark on the right side of the frame, indicating it was intended for international sale. It is in beautiful condition, retaining virtually all of its original bluing. There is minor finish loss around the muzzle and on some of high edges. Some light surface scratches on the left side of the frame above the trigger guard. The fire blue on the trigger is still present but slightly faded. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is light fouling in the grooves. Fitted with excellent wooden grips with sharp checkering. Comes with one proper magazine. The original box is mostly intact, but the top half has the a couple separated corners.
