Description

01/23/26 - For sale is a matching Gewehr 98 made by Amberg in 1915. The metal has an aged patina finish with the old bluing remaining. There are patches of wear worn down to a grey/bare metal. The stock doesn't have grasping grooves and is in great condition for its age. The stock has been lightly sanded. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The cleaning rod appears to be a modern replacement. The rifle has matching numbers throughout, but the bayonet lug is not numbered but properly proof-marked.
