Description
11/21/25 - This is a rare Walther shotgun, manufactured in September of 1936. Comes in 12 gauge with 28-3/8" barrels. Full length matted rib, with white beaded front sight. Features double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety, and two sling swivels. The butt plate is a hard plastic original stamped with the Walther Logo. The gun is engraved with a duck and flower on the both sides of the receiver. The trigger plate is marked "WALTHER / WAFFENFABRIK WALTHER / ZELLA-MEHLIS (THUR)". The shotgun is matching on the receiver, barrels, and forearm. There is a locking mechanism that has a different number, and we aren't positive if this is a lot/assembly number or one that is supposed to match the rest of the shotgun, but it can be examined in the pictures. The finish is excellent, with some scattered handling marks on the barrels, a small area of finish loss on the underside of the barrels where the forearm sits. An area of finish loss on the right side of the receiver around the screw behind the barrels where the stock inserts. There two very minor spots of freckling directly behind the barrels on both sides of the gun. A few surface scratches here and there on the metal. Wood furniture is excellent, just a few mild handling marks. Bores are excellent.
