Description
12/11/24 - This is a great sealed box of .276 Pedersen ammo made by the Frankford Arsenal in 1929. .276 Pedersen was an experimental caliber developed by John Pedersen in the early 1920's for use in his Pedersen Rifle as well as the early versions of the M1 Garand rifle. The .276 Pedersen was the United States response to the very popular 7mm cartridges that were adopted by many nations during that time. However, in a bid to standardize the U.S. Army to one small arms caliber. The .276 Pedersen was dropped in favor of the 30-06 Springfield, after it was proven that the M1 Garand could be chambered in 30-06.Specifications
