Description
2/3/26 - This is a Remington Model 1858 Army Revolver from the Civil War. Chambered in .44 Caliber. The gun is fully functional. The gun is in fair condition overall, but we believe it has an old re-blued. Visible in a few small areas appears to be a bright peacock blue finish. Nearly all of the gun is covered in an even layer of brown patina. An area of light pin-pricking on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with period-correct wood grips - there is a visible military cartouche on the left side. There is a noticeable crack and a tiny repaired chip on the right side. The bore shows some rifling, but there is surface rust and oxidation throughout. No FFL required.
