11/21/25 - For sale is an E. Robinson Model 1861 Rifled Musket made in 1863. The rifle is one of 12,000 made from a contract in June of 1863. The metal is worn down to bare metal, and there is oxidation and shallow pitting mainly around the percussion nipple. The lock plate is also darkened with oxidation and shallow pitting. The lockplate is stamped "E. Robinson" and the US Eagle. The stock is in great condition but shows its age and wear. There are cracks on each side of the lock plate about 1.5" in length. The bore is dark. The action function functions properly. There are words stamped on the left side of the stock but we cannot make out what it says.
