Description
4/7/26 - This is a Mauser Model 1914 issued to the Imperial German military during WWI. It is all matching with the proper Imperial military acceptance mark in front of the rear sight and the police unit marking "L. Lg. 163." (Landjaegerei Lueneburg District, Weapon # 163) on the front grip strap. The gun comes as a complete matching rig - two matching-numbered magazines (with the matching unit number) and an original matching-numbered holster (matches the gun's serial number). The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original bluing. The majority of the wear is concentrated around the muzzle and around the high edges. Fitted with a nice period-correct wood grip. The bore is bright and the rifling is gstill intact but the surface has pitting throughout.
