02/27/26 - For sale is a clean K98k made by Waffenfabrik Brunn Brystica of Czechoslovakia in 1945. The rifle is in a late war semi-kriegsmodell configuration. The receiver and barrel have a blued finish with freckles of oxidation and patina. The receiver shows a finish loss from the oxidation. The stock is a semi-kriegsmodell style with the absence of a takedown disk but has the barrel band leaf springs and lack of a bayonet mount. The stock surface has been sanded. This stock we believe is not original to this rifle and was replaced. Waffenfabrik Brunn Brystica had Kriegsmodell stocks with the takedown disk during the beginning of 1945. The inside of the stock channel also lacks any markings typical of dou. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The bolt is correct for this variant as a late-war DOU 1945 recycled piece. The rest of the bolt is fine and matches. The rear sight is numbered on the base when "dou" had the last 2 observed.
