Description
11/16/25 - This is a shooter grade example of an early commercial Mauser C96 from 1910. The pistol is mismatched and refinished. "Double Crown U" proofed, but that marking is smoothed from the refinish. The Mauser logo remains crisp. The restored blue is retained throughout, but there are small spots of pitting under the bluing in several areas. The grips are excellent but are slightly too small for the frame. The barrel is a replacement, and the bore is excellent.
