SOLD -1939 Mauser Luger Rig - Matching Magazine

11/14/25 - This is a 1939 Mauser Luger rig issued to the German military. It is a 42 code, four-digit date variation with a total production of about 81,000. The pistol is all matching with proper E/63 military proofs, and has retained about 90% of its original blue. There is wear along both side rails, around the muzzle, and on the side plate. A couple areas of finish loss on the left side of the barrel and a spot on the bottom of the front strap. Some very mild thinning of both grip straps generally. Receiver also has a nice plum hue to it, but there are a few scattered handling marks. Excellent grips that are also matching to the pistol. Excellent bore with only minor frost. Matching magazine is in terrific condition. Comes as a rig with holster that is in excellent condition, with sharp markings and no noteworthy flaws, and a tool which is original but not proofed.
