Description
2/2/26 - This is a nice example of an original Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. The pistol is all matching besides the grips (which are unnumbered), and the magazine, and has the proper "Eagle 655" military proof stamps on right side of the frame. It has retained about 80% of its bluing, with scattered areas of mild thinning, scratchy wear, and mild discoloration throughout the receiver and frame. Thinning and light surface oxidation on both grip straps and on the underside of the trigger guard and underside of the frame. Dots of freckling along the side rails, side plate, and some of the high edges. Bore is excellent, with just minor signs of use. Comes with a well-fitting but unnumbered set of original grips, which show natural smoothing from honest use. Comes with one original blank aluminum Fxo magazine. Note that the matching numbered toggle pin (shown in photos) has a very slight chip which does not affect assembly or general functionality.
