Description
1/22/26 - This is a very nice example of a Winchester M1 Garand from February of 1943. The barrel is Winchester-marked and the small parts all have the correct "WRA" Winchester marking. The let side of the stock has the proper Winchester inspection stamp "WRA GHD" and has a cross-canon military cartouche. The metal parts have retained about 92-93% of their original finish with very minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some thinning on the floor plate. The wood furniture is very nice overall with no major damage, but there are a few dings and bruises and a linear bruise on the left side that almost appears like the gun was leaned onto something for a long time. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. Muzzle reading: 3. Throat reading: 2.
