SOLD - 1945 Dated US Army BC-611 Radio Set

12/17/25- For sale is am original WW2 BC-611 radio set complete with box of additional fuses and vacuum tubes. The BC-611 radio was the key component of the larger SCR-536 communications set and was an iconic piece of American WW2 equipment. The radio handset is fully intact, including the antenna, antenna cover, battery compartment door, transmit switch, and transmit switch cover. There is light wear including some loss of paint around the edges but no serious damage. The small informational panel describes the model, manufacturer, and contract date which includes a "45" year designation. Also included in the set is the supplemental box of fuses and vacuum tubes used for changing the channels of the radio. Because it was an entirely analog system, the transmit/receive frequencies could only be changed by physically changing the internal electrical components. The case contains 11 sets of one vacuum tube, one copper coil, and two crystal receivers per set. There is one empty slot for the components currently inserted in the radio.  The wooden case is fully intact with no damage. The canvas strap is still attached and all the identification panels are still readable, with the contract number including a "44" year designation. Set in overall excellent condition.
