Description
7/23/25 - This is a British East India Company Pattern 1843 Percussion Cavalry Pistol from the late 1800's. The right side of the lock features a Rampant Lion and "Crown 3" proof. There is also a British "Crown V" proof on the barrel, and an "AuM" marking on the tang. Fully functional. No FFL required. The metal shows no major damage, but there is obvious spotty patina throughout. The wood stock features obvious bruising throughout, a noticeable crack around the lock (doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the wood), and what appears to be wood putty repairs on the right side of the grip. The bore shows surface rust throughout.
