Description
10/16/25 - For sale is a Swiss Model 1896/11 Schmidt Rubin made in 1906 at the Bern Factory. The rifle is an updated variant of the 1896 rifle with small parts upgrades and the ability to fire the newer GP-11 Cartridge. Rifle is in good shape with a nice bluing on the metal. The are patches of finish wear turning a grey color. The stock is in great shape with minor handling marks. There is a splice for the pistol grip which was a part of the 96/11 upgrade. The bor eis bright with strong rifling. The barrel, bolt, receiver, magazine, and buttplate have matching numbers. The rear sight is mismatched, likely form the rebuild, and the stock has "83300" on top.
