SOLD - Early M38 Luftwaffe Paratrooper Helmet

7/14/25 - This is an excellent example of an early M38 Luftwaffe Paratrooper helmet. The paint is original factory paint that is in good condition with some patches of patina around the dome of the helmet. The exterior also has a clear Luftwaffe decal on it and all four spanner bolts are intact. The interior of the helmet has an M38 liner system with all the pads and a complete chin strap that is attached to the spanner bolts. The metal in the interior has some rusting around the rolled metal edge. The leather interior is completely intact but somewhat brittle and has some surface cracking where the band meets with the padding. The chin strap leather is still soft and malleable.
