Description
3/12/26 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver that was introduced to the commercial market in the 1940's. This late-production Victory (last serial number being SV811119) is all-matching, including the barrel, cylinder, crane, star extractor, and grip panels all serialized to the frame. This revolver has retained about 95% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss on the firearm exists as muzzle wear and light high-edge wear. There are also some light scratches on the right side of the top strap, and a light turn line on the cylinder. Some light spotty wear on the grip straps. The serialized wood grip panels show no signs of cracks or chips. The bore in the 4" barrel is bright with a mirrored finish. The bore has been well maintained though the rifling does show some wear. Mechanically sound with proper lock-up and timing. This S&W comes with the original, serialized Smith & Wesson box.
