Description
7/9/25 - This is a nice example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 that was put together by an American GI at the very end of WW2. The only serialized part is the slide. There is a waffen proof on the left side of the frame and only one proof on the right side of the slide, indicating this gun never made it out of the Walther factory before it was liberated. Star proof on the hammer. The gun has no finish, and it's hard to say if it ever had a finish in the first place. It almost appears as if it had a light-colored phosphate finish at one point, but we can't say for sure. Fitted with reddish particle grips and comes with an "Eagle 359" proofed Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
