SOLD - Etched Kriegsmarine Dagger with Portepee (060225-2 - RJ)

Description

7/1/25 - This is an original WW2 Kriegsmarine Officer's dress dagger with an etched (engraved) blade, scabbard, and original portepee. The dagger blade is maker stamped by Paul Weyersberg on one side, and has crisp etchings on both sides. There's some very minor scabbard rub wear and surface scratches, but overall the blade is in great condition. No signs of sharpening. The original stopper is still intact, and the hand guard is in great condition with mild surface patina throughout. The handle and pommel show no cracks or chips. The portepee has some very minor fraying and wear along the chord, but the knot is excellent and tight. The scabbard is slightly bent toward the end, but the blade has no issue going in or out.
