Description
12/15/25- For sale is a WW2 era Everitt knuckle knife. These knives adopt the same general style as the famous 1918 trench knife but were only manufactured for WW2 use. The Everitt knife is somewhat mysterious, without military proofs or clear records of service, but the knives are known to have been used and carried by American forces in the Pacific. The blade is blackened and has some loss of finish towards the tip from scabbard wear. There is no damage to the blade. There is some loss of paint on the handle, revealing the aluminum metal. The only markings on the knife are the name/brand "Everitt" on the interior of the knuckle guards. The scabbard is the distinctive design with ten rivets and six staples. The scabbard strap for holding the handle is broken off. Overall in excellent condition.
