Description
8/12/25 - The Beretta Model 418 is a small, blowback-operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 6.35mm (.25 ACP), produced by Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta from the early 1930s through the early 1950s. Evolving from the earlier Model 318, it retained the exposed barrel and open-top slide characteristic of Beretta pocket pistols, but introduced a more modern safety lever and minor cosmetic refinements. Compact, lightweight, and reliable, it became a popular choice for civilian self-defense, police backup, and military officers as a discreet sidearm. Production spanned both pre-war and post-war years, with numerous small variations in markings and features, making them an interesting collecting field. The Model 418 also gained pop culture fame as the favored sidearm of James Bond in Ian Fleming’s early novels. This one was manufactured in 1958 and comes as a rig with one magazine and a black leather holster. It has retained nearly all of its finish, but there a few tiny handling marks and scratches here and there. Mint bore.
