Description
6/27/25 - This is an excellent example of a very early Walther PP that was issued to the Third Reich Banking system in 1930. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. It also comes with a bank-numbered finger extension magazine that is not matching but in the same serial range. The slide has the proper panographed numbering, a characteristic unique to the bank-issued guns. This particular gun is also in the proper serial range for a bank-issued gun and has early features such as a 90-degree safety lever and an extended barrel. It has retained about 94-95% of its original finish with very minor muzzle wear and some minor dulling with light brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with proper weighted grips - there is some cracking and separation along the left edge of the left grip panel. The bore is minty.
