Description
10/15/25 - For sale is a Swedish M96/38b made by Mauser Oberndorf in 1900. The m96/38 were updates to the M96 series of rifles to make them into short rifles. The rifle has a nice blued finish. The stock has been sanded but is in good condition overall. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle has been threaded for a blank fire device. The rifle is mismatched. some of the parts match the receiver but the bolt appears to be an unnumbered arsenal replacement. Front barrel band does not match the receiver. The bayonet is in great shape. The blade has light oxidation. The frog is in great shape with light wear. Two Swedish crowns stamped in the center.
