Description
2/6/26- For sale is a German DAF dress bayonet from the Nazi period. The DAF was the Nazi equivalent of a national labor union and its leadership and staff were issued with dress bayonets just like many other governmental organizations in the Nazi era. The blade is very brightly chromed with very minimal wear. There are no signs of sharpening or other grinding. The back of the blade has a very nice and clearly stamped Eickhorn squirrel mark. The grip and crossguard is the standard shape and construction as many other bayonets, including the K98 dress bayonet. The grip has the gear and swastika logo of the DAF. The scabbard has some light wear and loss of paint in a few scattered spots, especially the tip. The leather frog is fully intact and still flexible, with only a few stitches loose at the upper ends of where the scabbard lip rests. Overall in excellent condition.
