SOLD - Imperial German WWI 1915 Kaiserliche Marine Navy Flare Pistol

10/13/25- For sale is a very nice WWI era German flare gun. The gun is nearly completely made of brass, except for the wooden grips and the trigger and hammer. The gun feels very sturdy in the hand and is fully functional. The butt is marked "S&B 15", indicating manufacture by Stantien & Becker in 1915. The serial number is 819. The pistol was generally intended to be used at sea but some were also used on land throughout the war. There is expected wear and scratching to the surface. A small chip is missing from the bottom-forward portion of the grips, about a quarter inch on each side. It appears the wood cracked around one of the attachment nails. Overall in excellent condition.
