Description
12/3/25- For sale is a very late war Type 30 Arisaka bayonet made by the Jinsen Arsenal in occupied Korea. As the war continued and Japan's access to raw materials was restricted and more and more equipment was needed, bayonet patterns were simplified where possible, leading to noticeable changes in bayonet patterns. The bayonet has a long straight blade, just over 15 inches long. The top 7 or so inches of the blade has been sharpened at some point. The ricasso has the star proofmark of the Jinsen Arsenal. The crossguard is simple and straight and the handles are riveted wood. There is some wear on the blade but it retains most of the original finish. The handles have light wear and scratches but no serious damage. There is light wear on the scabbard but no cracks to the wood and it maintains most of the original paint. Overall in very good condition.
