SOLD - M34 Beaded Luftschutz Helmet

7/21/25 - The following is an excellent example of a German M34 helmet that was issued to the "Luftschutz" or air warden and rescue crews on the German home front during WWII. The exterior of the helmet has most of its original dark blue paint intact, and the Luftschutz winged decal on the front of the helmet is very clear with only minor chipping. There are multiple scratches throughout and a few small spots of patina around the crown of the helmet, but overall the exterior metal is in very nice condition and all three split pins are intact. The interior of the helmet is likewise in very nice condition with a few areas of patina in the rear brim as well as the right brim. The leather liner is intact and appears to be in almost unissued condition as is the leather chinstrap which is fully intact. Made by Quist, size 62, lot #2710.
