Description

10/14/25 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 made by CG Haenel in 1917. The rifle retains an aged bluing but there is also cold blue touch up on the metal poarts. The stock has been sanded and the stamps are faint. There is a small crack at the front of the hanguard, past the barrel band. The bore is bright with strong rifling and there's corrosion residue at the muzzle. The rifle has matching numbers throughout, down to the action screws. The rifle includes a sawback bayonet in a leather/metal scabbard. Blade has been lightly cleaned with spotting of oxidation.
