12/11/25 - For sale is a late-war 8th Series Nagoya Type 99 Arisaka chambered in 7.7x58. The rifle shows the usual later war features like the large recoil bolt, fixed rear sight, 3 piece stock, Wood buttplate, and more crude finish. The metal has an aged blued finish with a light browning from patina. The stock is in excellent shape. The bore is fairly bright but the rifling shows wear towards the muzzle, and there is light pitting in the grooves about 2 inches from the muzzle. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety, extractor, and firing pin.
