Description
3/26/26 - This is a near-mint condition Harrington & Richardson U.S.R.A. (Model 195) Single-Shot target pistol, chambered in .22 LR and sporting a 10-inch barrel. Serial number 836 places this piece among the first 1,000 produced out of a limited total production of just ~3,300 units between 1928 and 1941. Features and serial range of this example confirm earlier production of the typical U.S.R.A. examples offered in 1930. These features include older style fixed keyhole front sight, fully adjustable L-type rear sight, standard curved trigger with finger-supporting spur to the rear of the trigger guard, light-weight hammer, and old-type barrel catch. The 10" barrel has a fluted rib, and the grips are the No.1 style. It is in absolutely fantastic shape, retaining virtually all of its original bluing and showing only scattered handling marks. Minty bore and pristine grips.
