Description

3/26/26- For sale is a very nice Nazi era police bayonet. These bayonets were not intended as combat weapons but were issued as part of the uniform as symbols of authority. The blade is bright with very minor wear and no signs of blade chipping, sharpening, or rust. One side of the blade is stamped "Ewald Cleff" and the spine of the blade is serialized 698. The crossguard has a nice oak leaf pattern on it and is unit marked on the back side. The handles are horn with a police eagle emblem. The pommel has an eagle head design with very light wear. The scabbard is leather with metal fittings at the top and bottom. The lip of the scabbard is serialized 698, matching to the blade. Overall in excellent condition.
