Description

02/17/26 - For sale is a M1891 Mosin Nagant made by New England Westinghouse during WW1. Russia would approach the US for aid in making rifles and there would be contracts with Remington and New England Westinghouse to manufacture 1891 Mosin Nagants. The rifle was acquired by the Finnish military and marked with the Boxed SA on the barrel shank. The metal has an aged bluing that is turning a grey color. The buttplate has old surface oxidation. The stock is clean with small dings and surface scratches. The Russian acceptance roundel is visible on the side. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The bolt and buttplate are Finnish force matched and the magazine floor is unnumbered. Import mark on the right side of the barrel.
