SOLD - Nice Pair of East German Carl Zeiss

8/27/25 - This is an excellent condition pair of East German binoculars, Silvamar 6x30, by Carl Zeiss of Jena. Manufactured in the late 1960's or early 1970's. The exterior of the binoculars is in excellent shape. There is a star stamp near the left lense next to the maker's mark. There is a stamp with magnification information near the right lense. There is no chipping of the back paint and the only visible wear is along the edges. The hinge and sight adjuster are still functioning. The lenses are crisp and clear. There is a necklace that doubles as a lense cover attached to the binoculars. This is not original to the binoculars and has a stamp with Asian markings on the inside of the cover flap.
