Description

9/25/25 - Offered here is a German six-round signal flare container constructed of brown bakelite, complete with its original inert flare cartridges and paper label affixed to the lid. The bakelite container has cracking throughout the lower portion, see pictures. The label features a red star denoting the flare color and crisp black script reading “6 Sternsignalpatronen” (6 signal flare rounds), “Rate 117” (Installment 117), “Untersucht” (Examined), dated “September 1941,” along with the manufacturer’s code “dag” for Orion Metallwarenfabrik.
