8/26/25 - This is an excellent example of a Utica M3 fighting knife and scabbard from WW2. The blade on this knife is in excellent condition with on a few minor surface blemishes and some finish thinning from standard scabbard use. The edge of this knife is original and does not appear to have been sharpened. The knife is marked "U.S. M-3 Utica" on the cross guard. The pommel on the knife is ordinance marked with the flaming bomb. The leather handle remains completely intact with no gouges or missing leather discs. The leather discs are still firmly in place and do not move. There is some wear on the leather near the crossguard. The scabbard on this knife is also in excellent condition. The canvas is in great shape and the green scabbard has almost no finish loss.
