Description

04/07/26 - For sale is a Portuguese Model 1904/39 Mauser-Vergueiro chambered in 8mm Mauser. These rifles were made by DWM and were originally chambered in 6.5x58 Vergueiro. Prior to WW2, these were updated to 8mm Mauser. The rifle is not a Mauser action but a turnbolt Mannlicher action. The rifle as a worn bluing with a layer of patina. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. Some shallow surface dents. Bore is bright with strong rifling, but is starting to frost over near the muzzle with some light surface oxidation. The rifle is nearly matching but the safety flag is mismatched. Import mark on the barrel.
