Description
2/17/26- For sale is a rare 1935 Luger holster, corresponding to the illegal G-date Lugers. The Treaty of Versailles severely restricted Germany's ability to produce new weapons or to expand their army, so the early German rearmament was carried out using secret codes like "G" to hide how many guns were being made, where they were made, or when. This 1935 holster was made to receive one of those very rare and technically illegal guns. There is light wear to the exterior of the holster but no deep scratches or serious damage. The back of the holster is stamped with the year 1935, an early WaA 142 eagle, and a hard to see maker mark, although WaA 142 tells us the maker was Carl Heinichen in Dresden. In the interior of the top flap, someone has written "Julian Richald". All stitching is tight and intact. The front strap and belt loops are present and intact. Overall in excellent condition.
