Description
1/19/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare Walther PPK with RZM marking on slide, issued in 1935. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP, and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This particular example has all the proper features, including crisp RZM marking on left side of the slide next to the typical Walther model designation and patent markings. Correct "Crown N" commercial proof stamps, and 90 degree safety lever. The pistol itself has retained about 98% of its beautiful high polish bluing, with the only notable wear being on the high edges of the left side of the slide and around the muzzle, some very minor high edge wear on the right side of the slide, and a few scattered handling marks/surface scratches. Fitted with an excellent original grip, with sharp checkering and no major issues. Excellent bore, shiny with strong rifling. Comes with two proper Walther banner only magazines. Excellent mechanics.
