8/7/25 - This is a reproduction WW2 era German boot knife. The handle of the knife is made from soft wood that has very few dents and light wear overall. The crossguard of the blade shows some oxidation and patina. The blade of the knife is in good shape with a grayed finish that is mostly intact. on the left side of the blae by the crossguard there is a circle with two SS runes inside. On the other side of the blade, there is a "5" within multiple boxes. The scabbard has a black paint finish that has tiny chips of paint gone in a few areas. On the hanger part of the scabbard there are two SS runes next to the word "Reich" and the year "1943". Scabbrd fits the blade well.
