Description
1/9/26 - This is a nice example of a rare Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market during WWII. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. The gun has a beautiful plumb color to it - especially the barrel, a known characteristic of these second variation examples. Overall, the gun has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. The front strap is thin and has spotty patina. Spotty wear on the left side of the slide. Light scratching on the right side of the slide. There is wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and one period-correct magazine, though please note: the included magazine is not the one shown in the pictures. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. The de-cocker is functional.
