9/25/25 - This is a Schrade-Walden pilot knife from the 1950s, complete with its original leather sheath and issued to aircrew prior to the 1962 blade reduction. The 6" blade is immaculate with a flawless edge, and the ricasso is crisply marked “SCHRADE-WALDEN / N.Y. U.S.A.”. The handle remains excellent, with only the faintest handling marks and a touch of minor chipping at the base. Sunburst rivet accenting the pommel is present and free of wear. These early Schrade-Waldens, used by pilots in the Korean and Vietnam Wars, are much scarcer than the later Camillus and Milpar production. The sheath is likewise pristine
