4/9/26- For sale is a screwback WWI black wound badge in lapel button size. The standard badges were larger and were worn on military uniforms while these smaller size badges were worn either on military uniforms or on civilian clothes to demonstrate military service even while not in uniform. The badge is a little over an inch tall and has an M16 helmet, crossed swords, and a wreath with no solid background. The pin has a threaded post on the back along with a wide washer and screw on nut to fasten it in place. All three pieces are marked with a small "800". There is light wear and patina but no serious damage. Overall in excellent condition.
