Description
10/31/25 - This is a shoot grade example of an early commercial Mauser C96 from 1905. The frame and barrel are matching, but other parts are mismatched to the pistol. "Double Crown U" proofed, but that marking along with the Mauser logo are faded from the refinish. The fully restored finish is retained throughout, but there are areas of obvious wear and pitting under the bluing throughout. The grips are slightly worn but reasonably well fitted, with some overhang of the wood beneath the lower part of the frame. The bore has decent rifling but obvious pitting throughout.
