Description
3/17/26 - This is an example of a Spreewerk P.38 initially issued to the Nazi military in 1945. The gun is all-matching with the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs, but it does have a Walther (E/356) proofed trigger bar. There is an import mark on the underside of the tang. There is some kind of stamping or denting on the forward right side of the slide. The slide and barrel look to have been refinished. There is some areas of pitting on the the barrel. Fitted with brownish particle phenolic grips that have a large chip in the right side panel. Comes with a proper "jvd" stamped magazine. Bore is bright with deep rifling but there is some frosting. De-cocker is functional.
