Description

6/6/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1795 musket made in 1812. The metal is well worn with prickling of corrosion to the surface from age. Plenty of brown patina throughout. The lockplate is stamped "Springfield" and the eagle is worn away. The date of 1812 is stamped behind the hammer. The action functions properly. The stock have some cracks around the lock plate and the plate on the left side. There is a 2" crack stemming from the front of the lock plate. The rest of the stock is in good shape. The front sling loop is missing. The bore is dark with patina and oxidation visible.
