Description
10/8/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor made in 1887. The rifle was cut down into a saddle ring carbine. The barrel retains a military blue finish but has cold blue applied on areas. The receiver and the trapdoor, as well, are touched up with cold blue. The stock does not have an inspector's stamp. Bore is bright with good rifling, but there is some pricking of pitting.
