1/9/26 - This is a super rare Walther PP rig that was part of a Luftwaffe contract order in 1940. The pistol is one of only 1,500 produced in 9mm Kurz. It has the proper features for this contract, such as "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on frame and slide, as well as high-polish blued finish. The Luftwaffe contract guns were originally issued with two matching numbered magazines. This one comes as a rig with two un-numbered magazines and a scarce "Waffen 100" proofed black leather holster (visible ink stamp on the inside). The gun's original bluing rates about 95% with muzzle wear, minor high edge wear, an area with tiny pits on the left side of the slide, a very light surface scratch on the front strap, and some very minor dulling on the back strap. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. Mint bore.
