2/3/26- For sale is a WW2 era Ka-Bar fighting knife. The knife is officially known as the US Navy Mk. 2 Knife although those produced by Union Cutlery were marked with the "KA-BAR" branding, leading to the name being widely adopted for the pattern of knife as a whole. There is patina and some wear on the blade, including what looks like light grinding or sharpening. The base of the blade is marked with the "KA-BAR" branding. The leather handle is intact with no serious damage and only one or two small scrapes. The scabbard has been decorated/personalized with various geometric pattern, likely done with this knife itself. There are also one or two spots where names or words have been scratched into the leather although they are not clearly readable. There is a braided tassel on the bottom of the scabbard. Overall in very good condition.
