Description
3/19/26- For sale is a WWII era French M26 Adrian helmet. The Adrian was made famous as the French helmet in WWI and remained in service around the world for decades afterwards. The M26 design had a simplified production process, with the helmet body made from one stamped piece and the head ridge formed from another single piece. The exterior is mostly brown painted with spots of wear and patina but no dents. The top ridge is intact and firmly riveted in place. The front crest indicates service in the French artillery. The helmet interior has some patina but retains most of the original paint pattern. The liner is loosely attached but is still intact. The chinstrap is intact. Overall in very good condition.
